What will happen if I missed the Comprehensive Examination or failed it?

Modified on Wed, 13 Dec, 2023 at 8:45 PM

Student who fails the exam can apply for a second examination. A student who fails their re-examination shall exit the program (in accordance with the UPOU Academic Policies and Procedures 2022, Page 55, E.1.2 Step 15).

Only one (1) re-examination may be allowed within a year approved by the committee but not later than one year after the first examination. Failure to pass shall bar the student from earning the master's degree. (Based on No. 7 in Page 52 of the FMDS Manual of Operations 2023).
